History

Firmly Attached, Inc. was founded on May 8th, 2003 as an Internet startup specializing in building websites for the industrial hardware and fastener industries.  At the time these types of companies didn’t really think the Internet was going to be such a “game changer” when it came to distributing their products.  Because of this Evan Owen, President and Founder of Firmly Attached Inc., decided to sell products of his own in the ever growing Internet marketplace.  The companies first brand was A Smash Hit! Trade Show Displays – www.SmashHitDisplays.com, a leading B2B supplier of trade show display products.  Leveraging the emerging strategy of search engine optimization – SEO, the company grew from zero to over $1M in sales in just under a year.  In October of 2007 Smash Hit Displays was sold so that other interests could be pursued.

Current Projects

Work began in 2009 on the next grouping of brands centered around home improvement products.  The first of which is a cabinet and door hardware website under the brand Cabinet & Door Hardware Specialties.  Future websites will be centered around lighting, bath and kitchen products and outdoor living.  In addition to websites that focus on selling products, the company is also developing blogs and social networking websites that are all centered on home improvement.
